OVERVIEW
The Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies (GDCS) is for non-theology graduates to gain knowledge in biblical studies, Christian doctrine, and practical ministry. The program provides a deep understanding of the Bible, its cultural and historical context, and theological implications. Students can integrate their learning into personal and ministry contexts to apply theological knowledge to everyday situations.

Modes of Study
1) Onsite
Onsite students will study their courses in face-to-face classes. They may also choose to take some online courses. A full-time student will study 3-4 courses a term whereas a part-time student will study 1-2 courses a term.
2) Online
Online students will study all their courses online. Students will adhere to a study track assigned by the school and complete 2 courses per term.
Admission Requirements
The applicant should fulfil the following requirements:

Obtained a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with a minimum GPA of 2.5*

Possess personal and spiritual maturity
-
Be water baptized and involved in Christian ministry
-
Recommended by his or her local church pastor
* Those obtained a GCE ‘A’ level certificate or diploma certificate can apply if they are at least 30 years old with at least 5 years of ministry experience. They will need to take a qualifying assessment. Successful applicants must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 in the first 4 courses of the program to continue their studies.
International applicants must provide evidence of English language proficiency if their previous school's medium of instruction was not in English. This can be demonstrated through a TOEFL score of 80 (IBT) / 550 (PBT) or an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, or an equivalent qualification. Certificates must have been issued within the past two years.

All new students will begin their program with the course Theological Research and Writing which is offered as an online course.
ONSITE SCHEDULE
Students studying onsite should use the schedule below as a guide. These classes are taught in a face-to-face format. The school may schedule these courses during the day or in the evenings.

Full-time students must take all courses listed in each respective term. Part-time students should aim to take 2 courses each term and complete the program within 2 years. Onsite courses are usually rotated so that they are offered in the evenings on alternate years. Onsite students have the option of taking some online courses. They should seek academic advice from the Dean to receive guidance on the selection of their courses.
ONLINE SCHEDULE
Students studying their courses fully online will be placed on a two-year study track. They can study 1-2 courses a term and have up to 3 years to complete the program.

4) International students will need to take into consideration living expenses and other related fees incurred from staying in Singapore on a student pass.

APPLICATION
The School of Theology follows a trimester system with 3 terms in a year. Each term consists of 13 weeks. Students should check with the school for the exact dates for the school terms.
